Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Researches, reviews and documents existing processes, procedures and functions for enhancement, accuracy, and redevelopment.
- Assists in evaluation of business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options.
- Prepares documentation for project-related business requirements that are accurate and well-structured to be utilized by technical and business audience.
- Participates in multiple project tasks and client relationships simultaneously, appropriately balancing priorities and deliverables.
- Participates in the training of all levels of resources.
- Facilitates communication between members of the project team on project issues and expectations.
- Provides user manual documentation. Coordinates user testing activities.
- Reviews project designs and test results. Responds to questions from business and IT teams.
- Assists in performing task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
- Review, analyze, and verify production problems working with the business users to understand priorities and scheduling.
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related experience
Required
- 5 years of IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, etc. General knowledge of broad business practices
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic Word; Intermediate SQL/Query and Excel skills
- Intermediate oral and written communication skills. Intermediate ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional and technical disciplines.
- Basic persuasion and negotiating skills
- Intermediate investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills. Intermediate data analysis skills.
- Intermediate ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously, including the ability to handle changing priorities and deliverables.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful situations
- Knowledge of industry practices, trends and applications and the ability to communicate this knowledge to clients and apply it to meeting clients’ needs.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department projects. Ability to foster a teamwork and customer service focused environment
- Ability to work online, either at home or remote
- Insurance industry knowledge
- 5 years IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, etc.
