A Brief Overview
The Manager Legal Entity Reporting and Group Capital assists in preparing and reviewing annual group capital filings and surveys, and audited US GAAP financial statements for certain legal entities. In addition to assisting in preparing and/or reviewing quarter-end financial reporting of several legal entities on a US GAAP and regulatory basis and other duties as assigned.

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. A Brief Overview
The Manager Legal Entity Reporting and Group Capital assists in preparing and reviewing annual group capital filings and surveys, and audited US GAAP financial statements for certain legal entities. In addition to assisting in preparing and/or reviewing quarter-end financial reporting of several legal entities on a US GAAP and regulatory basis and other duties as assigned.
What You Will Do
- Assist with annual group capital projects, including preparation of timelines across multiple functions, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assist with all financial reporting aspects of group capital reporting, as well as additional group reporting projects as assigned.
- Assist in quarter-end financial reporting functions as assigned including recording financial activity, creating financial reports and analyzing data.
- Assist with preparation of annual audited US GAAP financial statements and disclosures for several legal entities.
- Assist with coordinating and reviewing responses to audit inquiries and support.
- Prepare or assists in reviewing quarterly US GAAP financial statements and regulatory returns for several legal entities, becoming a SME for assigned jurisdictions.
- Review and performs updates to SOX process documents and may provide audit support for SOX audits as needed, including documenting group capital process and controls
- Work with other areas, internal and external to the Company, to achieve efficient and effective accounting practices and procedures and responds to requests from other functional areas on various inquires. Recommends and implements process improvements.
- Coordinate and completes special projects, appropriately balancing priorities and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 8 years combined accounting/auditing experience, with GAAP reporting and general ledger application experience.
- Intermediate Word, strong Excel, and basic SQL/Query skills
- Advanced knowledge of accounting/finance and general ledger applications (PeopleSoft)
- Advanced oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
