RPI, a global leader in print-on demand, is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for our Rochester, NY manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and passionate about creating a positive and engaging workplace.
As an HR Business Partner, you'll be a strategic advisor to site leadership, helping to align business objectives with people strategies. You'll play a key role in fostering a strong workplace culture, supporting employee development, and driving HR initiatives that make an impact. Collaboration is at the heart of this role - you'll partner with all levels of management and staff across the organization, as well as working closely with other HRBP's, to build a unified and consistent HR function.
Essential job functions :
- Provide consultative guidance to site management on personnel related issues including staffing, performance management, leadership development, change management, discipline, policy rollout & enforcement, and engagement & culture.
- Support managers in forecasting and planning staffing requirements in line with business needs.
- Works collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders in the development of the training / development strategies to close skill "gaps" between current and future skill sets and competencies to develop workforce and succession plans.
- Help the site leader with providing employees with development opportunities and ensure that they can meet current and future performance standards.
- Accurate management of employee onboarding, updates, timekeeping and offboarding utilizing the HR system of record.
- Provide ongoing performance coaching and feedback to site leaders to drive high performance teams and an engaged workforce.
- Provide weekly updates to staffing reports.
- Identify new opportunities where HR can add value to the business.
- Ensure compliance with and knowledge of federal, state and local laws and impact on the business.
- Involved with development of and / or leading employee programs to foster a dynamic work environment.
- Partnership with local temporary agencies for seasonal, high-volume needs.
- Resolves complex employee relations issues through objective employee investigations and interviews, and coaching managers.
- Serve and provide guidance on local safety committee.
