What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Collection Assistant - Field position at Reiter Affiliated Companies?
Job Contributions and Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection
- Review and approve weekly crates and hours, settlement, overtime and PFQ reporting.
- Verify overhead hour reporting is submitted and accurate. Report information to payroll.
- Train punchers on how to use the Data Collection tools.
- Scan the time, hours, activity etc.
- Submit exports.
- Approved reports (crate and hours, settlement, etc.).
- Confirm employee information (time, dates, etc.) for payroll to the check processing.
- Download Data Collection and send daily profile summaries to the crews.
- When Data Collection is uploaded, verify and export daily
- information to payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
- Enter “papeletas” or tags in the inventory system and verify that all Data collection logs are in accordance with the harvest. (For those crew that have the Fruit Receipt App, “papeletas” will not be enter)
- Reconcile crates using the “Registro de cosecha” provided by the crew leader (i.e., Driscoll’s biz, settlement App).
- Submit juice tags into the settlements (other sales).
Production Reporting/ Data Collection
- Create accurate reports weekly, to include but not limited to: Daily Production Report, Total variety crates reports per ranch, settlement report, Sweet Spot Report, and LDA.
- Print Sweet Spot Quality Score sheet daily and send a copy to the Crew Leaders.
- Provide a daily productions reports to Production Manager:
- Daily report (includes crates, efficacies, PQ from the previous day)
- Daily Speed Production Daily Report that includes: crates/hour/crew, crates/crew, and quality/crew.
- Cull Report (data gather form the crew leaders it is required to create a consolidated repot)
- 3 Day Forecast Report (required by Driscolls).
- PQ Report
- Provide a production report to the Production Manager every Monday, which includes the same information as the previously mentioned report, but that also includes cost centers.
Other related duties as required and assigned based on new reporting structure such as communication/ support between Payroll and Operations for various programs such as pay cards, direct deposits, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities
- Basic knowledge of state and federal labor laws
- Communicate fluently (written, verbal, listening and presentation) in Spanish, English is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Education Level:
High school diploma required, but AA degree desired, Business or related field
Years of experience
- Minimum 1-2 years’ work experience on administrative support, Human Resources or related field
Licenses:
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to be insured under the company insurance.

Travel Requirements
- Constantly visits to ranches within the district (90%)
Pay Scale: $21.50 to $25.00
