The successful candidate will be primarily focused on formulating innovative and effective cosmetics and household cleaning products for the consumer market. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a keen understanding of market trends to develop products that meet consumer needs and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulation Development:
- Optimize existing product formulations for performance, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Product Testing and Evaluation:
- Conduct stability testing and performance evaluations on new and existing products.
- Analyze product performance data and make recommendations for improvements.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all formulations meet relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for regulatory submissions and product registrations.
- Innovation and Research:
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging ingredients.
- Propose and implement innovative ideas for new products and formulation improvements.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in formulation development, preferably in cosmetics and/or household cleaning products.
- Demonstrated experience in a lab environment, conducting experiments, and analyzing data.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic and cleaning product ingredients, including their chemical properties and interactions.
- Proficiency in using formulation software and laboratory equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with natural and sustainable ingredients.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
