About The Role
This position is responsible for retouching interior and exterior lifestyle and product imagery to the highest standards, delivering best in class creative under tight deadlines. The Photo Retoucher provides expert level Photoshop skills including high-end photo manipulation; color accuracy; color adjustments; troubleshooting Photoshop solutions, along with basic skills: creating paths and masks; image sizing and cropping. You will ensure all deadlines are met, improve efficiencies, and create retouching SOPs for the best workflow, cross collaboration and brand consistency.

About The Role
This position is responsible for retouching interior and exterior lifestyle and product imagery to the highest standards, delivering best in class creative under tight deadlines. The Photo Retoucher provides expert level Photoshop skills including high-end photo manipulation; color accuracy; color adjustments; troubleshooting Photoshop solutions, along with basic skills: creating paths and masks; image sizing and cropping. You will ensure all deadlines are met, improve efficiencies, and create retouching SOPs for the best workflow, cross collaboration and brand consistency.
Responsibilities
- Retouch and color correct interior and exterior lifestyle photography assets
- Work closely with art directors, photographers, and relevant partners to retouch assets based on notes and original intent of imagery
- Meet deadlines and manage priorities
- Release images, share image status, communicate with cross functional partners
- Manage assets internally and for external partners
- Contribute to asset management SOPs
- Contribute to retouching SOPs and brand standard documents
- Participate in hindsight meetings and creative reviews, proactively identify, communicate and solve any issues occurring throughout the production process
- Attend photo shoots as needed to assist with special projects that require an imaging perspective (i.e. Strip ins, complex compositions).
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- 2-3 years or experience in an imaging capacity (retouching interiors preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously
- Familiarity with Data Asset Management systems
- Knowledge of technical aspects of photography
- Experience with video editing software preferred
- Ability To Provide Creative Solutions To Challenging Design Problems
- Ability to work onsite in our Portland office Monday-Thursday
