Job Responsibility
This is a fully-remote, collaborative role, that has the nurse practitioner working alongside chiropractors and other to medical specialists to co-manage patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents or other injuries.
· Conduct comprehensive patient assessments post-MVA, including history taking – via telehealth.
· Collaborate with the chiropractor to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.
· Manage pain, soft tissue injuries, and other related conditions through evidence-based medical interventions.
· Order and interpret imaging and laboratory tests as appropriate.
· Prescribe medications, therapies, or referrals to specialists as needed.
· Monitor patient progress and document all clinical encounters in the EMR system.
· Educate patients on injury recovery, medication use, and rehabilitation strategies.
· Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations related to motor vehicle injury treatment.
Skills Required
· Superb communication and patient education skills.
· Ability and willingness to collaborate with other medical professionals.
· Familiarity with personal injury/legal documentation processes.
· Understanding of chiropractic principles and non-pharmacological treatment methods.
· Bilingual (Spanish or other language) a plus.
Reporting Relationships
· Reports to Director of Clinical Services.
Experience, Education (REQUIRED Education and Licensure(s) (list the minimum level of education, certification(s) and/or licensure(s) required -- include area(s) of expertise, if applicable):
· Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida.
· Certification as an NP (FNP, ARNP, or equivalent) from an accredited program.
REQUIRED Years of Experience (years of experience are standardized based on the level of the position; however, list the type(s) of experience required):
1-3 years of clinical experience.
REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (list the minimum required knowledge, skills and abilities; these must be directly applicable to the position and be measurable, usually by testing or through interview questions):
Electronic Health Records (EHR) – Proficiency in using EHR systems Computer Literacy – Proficient with medical software and general office programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Communcation – Outstanding ability to actively listen and educate patients.
PREFERRED Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience and Education (list knowledge, skills, abilities, experience and education preferences):
Electronic Health Records (EHR) – Prior experience with eClinical Works.
Experience – Prior experience in a personal-injury setting.
Preferred bilingual in Spanish and English

This job is a fully-remote position and requires a home office and reliable internet.

· This is primarily a sedentary role; however, may require the ability to perform occasional physical examinations and procedures on patients. This requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and to perform light lifting.

· Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
· Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
