Construction Crew Member -Ohio Office
We are a traffic data collection company that specializes in the installation and maintenance of in-road traffic sensors and off-road components. We maintain, service, and troubleshoot traffic sensors and hardware throughout the State of Ohio.
We are seeking a Construction Crew Member to join our professional team in the Columbus, OH area. This person must meet the following requirements for career employment.
- Must have experience with traffic control and setting up Work Zones on Ohio roadways. ODOT Intermediate Level Certification is preferred. Basic Level is also acceptable.
- Responsible individual with a clean driving record and a clear motor vehicles record.
- Successfully pass a required Ohio Department of Transportation background check
- Able to pass drug screening test
- Ability to perform medium duty manual labor tasks, operate concrete cutting saws and common power tools.
- Be willing to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment, work is performed in heavy traffic volume and high speed roadways.
- Able to work outdoors for long periods of time in fluctuating weather conditions.
- Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule (days and nights), some weekends, travel throughout the State of Ohio and potentially other states
- Must have basic computer / mobile device skills
- Applicants must fully understand that safety is of the highest of importance and applicants must follow rules, guidelines and laws to be considered for employment.
- Must work well in a team setting, and have a positive attitude.
- Maintaining and Driving larger company trucks
- Must be able to attend and pass training and certification classes, as needed

Pay rate:
- Starting Pay: $22 / hour

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (potentially weekends)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience/Certifications:
- Maintenance of Traffic experience, Work Zone setup in Ohio, Intermediate Level Certification is preferred, Basic Level is acceptable also.
- Construction experience, manual labor, knowledge of common power tools
- Basic working knowledge of computers and mobile devices
- Maintaining and Driving company vehicles
License:
- Driver's License (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 90% (Required)
