Quality Manager

Job Description:

The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing the company Quality Management System/Quality Control Plan. They will establish the requirements for ISO compliance and ensure the company meets all requirements. They will ensure that each part of the manufacturing process has been correctly completed. They will perform detailed inspections to make sure products meet or exceed industry standards, eliminating anything not up to code and finding reasons behind any issues found in these inspections. They will oversee the Quality Department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products.

Responsibilities

· Develop and ensure enforcement of the Quality Control Plan (QCP)

· Identify the requirements for all ISO certifications

· Develop a plan to meet the ISO certification requirements

· Devise and review specifications for products or processes

· Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance

· Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations

· Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback

· Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards

· Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements

· Approve the right products or reject defectives

· Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis

· Solicit feedback from customer to assess whether their requirements are met

· Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives

· Be on lookout for opportunity for improvement and develop new efficient procedures

· All other duties as assigned by Senior Management

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent desired

· Management experience (atleast 4 year)

· 10 year of experience in quality control or quality assurance

· Experience in production operations or production environment

· Proficient with gauges, rulers, and measurements

· Ability to read and interpret drawings

· Ability to review, analyze and disposition non-conforming material

· Ability to make decisions based on quality of the product

· Ability to lift 25-30 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
