Job Title: PRN Social Worker
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PRN Social Worker to join our inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit at Great Plains Regional Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Oversee unit operations, including discharge planning, to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions, as well as family counseling, to support patients' mental health and well-being.
- Participate in referral development activities to identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Requirements:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
- A valid state license (LMSW preferred) is necessary for this role.
- At least one year of relevant experience or internship is required, with a strong foundation in social work principles and practices.
