Cold Header Tool & Die Technician

Cold Header Experience Required.

Will provide relocation assistance for non local candidates.

The cold heading lead machine setup operator will report to the production supervisor and plant manager. The position’s primary responsibility will be the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of cold header machines.

Must have experience in fabricating, repairing and maintaining tools, dies, fixtures used in cold heading operations.

Has to be a go getter and able to work alone.

Qualification and responsibilities:

• At least 3 years’ experience setting up, operating and troubleshooting progressive and multi-blow cold headers, setup experience required, national and Waterbury experience preferred.
• Reading blueprints, using various measuring tools
• Following job and quality procedures
• Inspecting and recording measurements
• Following safety procedures

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• High school education or equivalent. Header operator experience, preferably in the Fastener Industry
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required
• Continuously stand and move through 8-hour shift with occasional overtime

Salary: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
