Role : Cyber Systems Engineer
Location : Colorado Springs , CO
Visa : USC ( With Active DOD security clearance )
Type : 24 Months Contract ( C2C/1099)
Job Description :
• US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience; OR a HS Diploma or GED with 9 years of relevant experience
• Possess a current DoD IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., CompTIA Security )
• Strong understanding and experience with systems automation tools (e.g., build custom scripts to automate tasks using Ansible)
• Working knowledge of cyber security and Risk Management Framework (RMF), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and associated elements
• Experience conducting security log reviews using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge and experience with Elastic stack (ELK), including configuration and development of elastic search, Kibana, and logstash
• Working knowledge and experience with automating industry platform hardening practices, such as STIG implementation via Ansible playbooks
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in Agile DevSecOps teams.
