We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Security Operations to lead and oversee a large team of security professionals across multiple locations. This role is responsible for developing and managing comprehensive security programs to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for employees, patients, visitors, and the broader community.
As a key leader, you will be responsible for shaping security strategies, fostering strong collaboration across departments, and implementing proactive measures for risk mitigation, de-escalation, and crisis management. Your expertise in healthcare security will be instrumental in aligning security protocols with the organization's mission while promoting a culture of trust, safety, and operational excellence.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related healthcare field.
- 10 years of progressive experience in security management, with at least 7 years in a senior supervisory or leadership role.
- Extensive experience in healthcare security operations, including regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and emergency response planning.
- Proven ability to develop and implement security policies, training programs, and safety initiatives.
- Experience managing large-scale security operations in dynamic and high-traffic environments.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully building and managing high-performing security teams.
Licenses & Certifications:
- CISSP certification preferred.
- CHPA – Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (required or must be obtained within one year of hire).
