  • Job Title : Operations Assistant

    • This position will be required to perform warehouse functions as well as computer-based tasks.
    • Normally Reports to : Branch Operations Manager

      Job Objective : Assist with operational support and deliver outstanding customer service and project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities : In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.

      Responsibilities :

    • Monitor on-site Oil tank farm using computer program.
    • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to : copying, faxing, mailing and filing
    • Manage the administrative receipt of all incoming loads
    • Arrange LTL (Less Than Truck Load) orders for deliver.UPS, R&L Carrier.
    • Print backorders and provide backorder reports
    • Organize products using RF Scanner
    • Pulling, staging, shipping and receiving of product using forklift.
    • Schedule, dispatch delivery for package and bulk product
    • Print and prepare labels, and bill of ladings for drivers.
    • Place items in staging for transfers and billing
    • Transcribe emails and other communications dictated by management
    • Understanding of Microsoft Programs. Word, Excel, E-mail.
    • Type, file and copy correspondences
    • Manage other tasks (ongoing or project) as deemed necessary by management
    • Perform general administrative duties and support for Management Team
    • Work on special projects as needed
    • Other :

    • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service
    • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
    • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company

    • Walking : move about inside the office and / or branch facilities as well as airport / travel needs
    • Sit / Stand : Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time
    • This position will be required to perform warehouse functions as well as computer-based tasks.
