Job Objective: To effectively manage Regional Sales Director, Sales Managers, and CSR Inside Sales manager, and their teams by supporting, developing, and implementing corporate and regional strategies and standards that are aligned with achieving the gross margin growth, sales associate productivity, and organizational operational efficiency objectives. This individual will play a critical role in developing talent and instill the use of learned skills for all associates within the region to enhance branch, region, and corporate profitability. Regional And Corporate
- Develop and drive execution of Sales and Marketing strategies for the region.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to drive individual and collective success
- In-depth understanding of market dynamics, customer trends, and sales strategies
- Regularly strategize with Operations Leadership team and Regional Sales Managers to accomplish companywide and region-specific objectives
- Enhance leadership skills of direct reports
- Develop and continually improve consultative sales process of regional sales force
- Implement and enforce Sales and Marketing Platforms
- Monitor Regional Cost of Sale and oversee compensation offered to new Sales Representatives
- Work with Branded Partners in strategic and tactical execution of branded supplier volume goals, pipeline expectations, marketing execution, and regional QBRs
- Integration with additional departments to drive cross selling opportunities
- Develop programs and processes to enhance the effectiveness and sales skills of the Sales Force
- Oversee implementation of Sales Process
- Serve on Regional Leadership Team to facilitate reaching EBITDA goals for the region
- Work in unison with Marketing on key initiatives, events, lead generation, and e-commerce strategies
- Monitor outside sales trends, performance, results and competitive activities
- Consult for VP Sales and Marketing on assigned key projects and initiatives
- Collaborate to develop KPIs for customer service and Inside Sales
- Support and implement inside sales growth strategies.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service both internally and externally
- Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures
- Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
- Work overtime as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
- 10-15 years of proven experience as a Sales Director and/or business systems leadership role
- Very Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Teams
- Very Proficient with Sage CRM or experience with other CRM software
- Basic understanding and utilization of Power BI
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment utilizing strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure execution
- Analytical skills using data based statistical concepts
- Proven collaborative and communication skills to provide leadership in a team approach to work
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid change and the ambiguity that is created by change
- Exceptional attention to detail
