The Branch Manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals in maintaining operational excellence. As a leader, you will oversee facility and lead associates, processes, and policies in a manner that sustains customer loyalty and provides opportunities for corporate financial growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to motivate a team to achieve goals. You will also be responsible for developing a productive team by hiring, training, and providing professional development opportunities. In addition, you will focus on overall continued improvement, efficiency, and productivity in processes and procedures, maintaining integrity in purchasing, sales flow, invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. You will also be responsible for following operational best practices that maximize profits and reduce losses.
The job involves managing inventory levels that support sales and growth objectives, taking full advantage of discounts, supporting Private Label and key strategic product usage throughout, establishing profitable strategies that maximize labor, equipment, materials, floor space, and distribution logistics, and complying with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. You will also maintain warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles to provide efficient operations and a safe environment.
