What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator position at RelaDyne?
Job Objective: Coordinate all aspects of shipping and receiving for our DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule all inbound and outbound shipments for production.
- Maintain daily/monthly inventory counts of all finished goods for production.
- Coordinate the movement of finished goods to and from our storage facility to ensure meeting all scheduled shipments.
- Daily communication to dock/warehouse staff on shipment needs for the days.
- Maintaining Outlook Calendar for daily tracking of all shipments.
- Assisting warehouse staff with all proper paperwork for various orders (BOLs, labels…etc).
- Daily communication to Facility Branch Manager of production needs for upcoming days.
- Daily communication with team at Old World Industries for any shipping and receiving issues.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Prior experience on shipping and receiving in a high volume manufacturing facility
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Ability to stand, bend and lift for the duration of the workday
- Forklift experience helpful
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workflow
