Position Title: PR & Influencer Intern
Internship Summary: The PR & Influencer Intern will provide essential support for the influencer program by assisting with outreach, communications, monitoring influencer activity, and preparing PR mailers. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn the intricacies of influencer marketing and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influencer Vetting:
- Identify potential influencers that align with brand values and campaign goals
- Research and compile a list of 25-35 influencer profiles weekly (submit every Tuesday Morning by 10AM ET) for review and outreach
- Monitoring Communications, Posts and UGC:
- Maintain up-to-date records of all communications in the influencer tracker
- Flag influencer responses for next steps and follow up as needed
- Monitor influencer accounts for new posts related to specific campaigns
- Screen grab and save posts, adding them to the UGC folder & tracker
- Monitor content published by influencers, including links and associated metrics and updating the tracker
- Creating Gifted Mailers:
- Assemble and customize influencer product boxes that are aesthetically pleasing
- Include all relevant products, materials, and handwritten notes for shipment
- Coordinate shipping logistics and track deliveries
Percentage of Tasks:
- 50%: Building, customizing, and coordinating influencer mailers
- 50%: Research, monitor communications and posts, maintain an up-to-date tracker & assist PR Manager with any other influencer mailer needs
Hours/Days Required in Office:
- Monday to Friday (15 Hours Per Intern - flexible)
- Wednesday and or Thursday are mandatory in-office days
- In-office assistance with product box assembly, shipping coordination, and team collaboration is required.
Qualifications:
- Up-to-date with evolving trends and social platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and Google Drive for tracking and UGC organization.
- Interest in influencer marketing, Public Relations and/or brand partnerships.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
