WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS AN ASSISTANT MANAGER - Bookkeeper


  • Support our properties and teams in a critical way by representing us to residents, employees, and agency partners.
  • Assist in leading day-to-day property operations and ensure financial targets and compliance standards are met.
  • Collect rents and oversee building staff as manager-on-duty
  • Process resident financial information through the RealPage OneSite system
  • Maintain accurate records while making a difference in your community.
  • Ensure your property’s ledgers are always audit ready and financially sound.
  • Set up, maintain, and process all property invoices while maintaining financial record through various platforms.
  • Maintain accounts payable and forward properly coded invoices to Community Manager.
  • Process and submit monthly HAP voucher for section 8 programs, including monthly interim recertification and gross rent charges.


Qualifications


  • You have at least 1 year of property management experience with knowledge of HUD Section 8, LIHTC, and/or other affordable housing programs as well as 2 years bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are committed to the mission of exceeding expectations and providing exceptional service to strengthen real estate value.
