Counselor

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor or Social Worker to join our therapeutic team. The ideal candidate will have experience and /or interest working with couples and will be available at least least two evenings a week and Saturday or Sunday. Experience and training in EMDR, anger management, addiction or other speciality in need will be a plus! Our team provides professional mental health counseling for individuals ranging in age from 4 to 70 and couples ranging in age from 20 to 70. You will receive ongoing professional development consisting of regular trainings and workshops and online classes paid for by RelationshipStore. You will recieve weekly individual supervision and bi-weekly group supervision. We have regular team meetings and outings as well. You will see clients in a furnished and decorated office with a desk and chair, sofa, table and more! You can also schedule clients out of office via Zoom or Private Google Meet. RelationshipStore's marketing director will assist you in creating a client-drawing bio for our website and an add for Psychology Today. You will also have personal business cards, table cards and brochures created and bought for your use. RelationshipStore's Intake coordinator will refer clients to you on a regular basis who request services daily through our website and other online websites. You have the ability to accept of decline all client referrals.

You will be working on a 50-50 contractual split of all money that comes in through your clients. Fifty percent goes to you and the other 50% goes toward providing computer, internet, office space, supplies, marketing ads, rent, electric, gas, training, events, billing costs and memberships. You are paid twice a month and each payment also includes a detailed list of all clients and money that has and has not come in. Your % will increase as you show us that you are the valuable asset we believed you to be !

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions to address the needs of clients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, including notes for all sessions in our Theranest data system.
• Provide case management services, coordinating care and resources for clients.
• Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support client development and progress.
• Engage in crisis management when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Learn and implement our Dynamic Mapping & Integration couples treatment model
• attend meetings, trainings and supervision as scheduled by RelationshipStore Supervisory team

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Experience working with clients in a counseling setting
• Familiarity with individual and couples therapy techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
• Knowledge of medical documentation practices relevant to mental health care.
• Masters degree in Clinical Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy or equivalent
• LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in counseling practices.
