Job Summary: The Painter & Finisher is responsible for preparing surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish, mixing paints to achieve desired colors and textures based on project specifications, and applying a variety of products on an array of surfaces and objects around a home, using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. The Painter stays updated on the latest paint products, finishes, and application techniques to provide recommendations and deliver high-quality work. The Painter adheres to safety standards and uses appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a secure working environment.
Primary Duties:
Perform tasks to clean, prep, and paint a variety of surfaces.
Operate, clean, and maintain brushes, hand tools, and other equipment.
Communicate project and material needs to the team through the proper channels.
Manage work and purchase order processes as outlined by the company.
Effectively perform processes to achieve maximum efficiency and quality.
Track/record use of stock items through inventory systems.
Skills:
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team or independently as needed.
Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and ensure timely results.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn company software, including Slack, Google Suite, and Housecall Pro.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses & Certificates:
Valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
Physical stamina and dexterity for extended periods of manual work.
Prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
Ability to lift 80 pounds at once without assistance and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb a ladder and comfortability with working at heights of 30-40 feet at maximum.
