What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Medical Director, Vascular Malformations position at Relay Therapeutics?
Relay Therapeutics is seeking a patient-focused Senior Medical Director to drive early clinical development in adult and pediatric rare diseases using our proprietary Dynamo™ protein-motion platform. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Clinical Development, you will lead clinical strategy from IND to proof-of-concept to approval, advancing multiple assets across rare disease therapeutic areas.
Your Role
- Lead clinical strategy and execution to rapidly establish proof-of-concept and accelerate development
- Develop regulatory-aligned clinical plans, identifying opportunities for breakthrough designation and accelerated approval
- Author and review key clinical documents (INDs, CTAs, regulatory responses) and oversee safety and pharmacovigilance.
- Integrate new scientific insights into development plans to optimize trial design and outcomes
- Build strong external collaborations with investigators, academic experts, and regulatory agencies
