What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk position at RELCO?
Position Summary:
Come join the RELCO Logistics Team. We are a fast-growing company that still operates with a hometown feel. The logistics Team itself is currently comprised of six individuals, one on the receiving side and two on the inventory side, one of which transfers material back and forth between the buildings within our campus. There is currently one individual in the packaging side that works directly with our Logistics lead who is tasked with setting up and managing all of our shipments. The logistics supervisor overseeing all duties. We offer great benefits which include three week’s vacation and 48 hours of sick time that are accrued over the year for all new hires.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Organize, palletize, and crate materials for outgoing projects and aftermarket shippers
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed
- To maintain appropriate stock of all lumber and other materials that may be required for the job at hand
- Keeping accurate records of items that are crated
General requirements:
- Must have a valid MN drivers license
- Able to lift up to seventy-five pounds
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience in a shipping / receiving environment
- Wood working experience
- Being forklift certified and able to operate a telehandler
- Being detail orientated, and good at time management
