Release Recovery is seeking a passionate and strategic Business Development Specialist to spearhead the growth of our innovative women’s treatment programs, including Transitional Living, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) in New York City and Westchester County. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the incredible leadership team of our women’s programs—trailblazers who are transforming the way we treat Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the recovery and mental health landscape, strong connections within the local recovery community, and a proven track record in business development.

Reporting to the Director of Development and Outreach, your mission will be to forge impactful partnerships, increase visibility, and drive census growth in our women’s programs. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development

    • Develop and execute strategies to enhance business in our women’s treatment offerings, including transitional living, IOP, and PHP programs.
    • Identify and cultivate partnerships with treatment centers, outpatient providers, and advocacy organizations in NYC and Westchester County.
    • Collaborate with our esteemed leadership team to identify and develop new revenue streams.

Community Relations & Partnerships

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with local recovery professionals, referral sources, and stakeholders.
    • Represent Release Recovery at events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote women’s services specifically
    • Organize and host community events to engage stakeholders and raise awareness of treatment offerings.

Marketing & Outreach

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns highlighting women’s programs.
    • Track and report outreach efforts using CRM tools to measure success and identify opportunities.

Program Development

    • Work with clinical and residential teams to understand and promote the unique and innovative aspects of women’s programs.
    • Conduct market research to identify gaps in services and inform program expansion.

Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
    • 3 years of experience in business development, community relations, or a related role in recovery or mental health.
    • Knowledge of the SUD and mental health landscape
    • Proven ability to develop and sustain professional relationships.
    • Proficiency with CRM tools and social media platforms.

    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Salary range of $70,000-$130,000 depending on experience
