We are seeking a Media and Accounts Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in public relations and / or journalism and an understanding of media relations, branding, and campaign management. The successful candidate will be adept at navigating complex media landscapes, crafting persuasive public narratives, and driving policy-related communication initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Identify press opportunities through evolving issues.
- Develop content for dissemination via press releases, social media, websites and other distribution channels.
- Manage assigned clients and their assigned tasks and scope activities.
- Ensure that key messages align with vital business strategies.
- Serve as a client media liaison and formal spokesperson.
- Conduct press conferences and briefings.
- Scan media marketplace to keep up-to-date on the latest media trends and topics that may affect clients.
- Monitor online and offline campaigns, and report on results.
- Negotiate with media channels on behalf of clients’ media buying.
- Build and manage clients’ social media profiles and presence.
- Promote additional projects to support client announcements.
- Build long-term relationships with media influencers, elected officials, and stakeholders.
- Attract new clients to the agency.
- Appropriately manage clients’ media budgets.
- Additional functions as directed by the Partners.
