Our practice member and wellness-focused chiropractic office is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and service to our practice members and potential new patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive new patient consultations, establishing a foundation of trust and understanding their unique wellness goals.
- Perform re-exams and evaluations, monitoring practice members’ progress and adequately communicating to doctors so they can adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal results.
- Prepare and present post-care progress reports, educating patients on their wellness journey and empowering them to make informed decisions on future wellness plans to maintain their wellbeing.
- Facilitate X-ray procedures with precision and care, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with receptionist duties, warmly welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
- Engage in computer work, ensuring accurate and organized patient records, documentation, and billing processes.
- Collaborate with the chiropractic team to maintain a positive and supportive office environment that prioritizes patient well-being.
- Embrace opportunities for professional growth and development, staying updated on chiropractic techniques, wellness trends, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a chiropractic or healthcare setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage patient appointments, documentation, and office tasks.
- Proficiency in computer software and electronic health record systems.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, dedicated to providing a positive patient experience.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and evolving work environment.
- Willingness to work full-time, including some evenings and occasional weekends.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required.
Hours needed are as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30-1, 2-5:30
- Tuesdays 7:30-1:30
- Occasional Thursday evenings and weekends for community events
Pay starts at $15/hour with assessment at 90 days for potential raise.
