Job Purpose:
To provide design, development, testing and support of a variety of process monitoring and control systems.
Duties:
- Design and develop various industrial and commercial mechanical, electrical and combustion systems.
- Create electrical schematics and panel drawings while maintaining a focus on industry standards & compliances.
- Field installation, start up and support for various process control and measurement systems.
- Technical support for various product lines.
- Specifying technical process instrumentation, both new and retrofit applications.
- Assist in providing technical proposals for process instrumentation, both new and retrofit applications.
Skills/Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field required
- Experience with CAD and PLC software.
- Experience drawing electrical schematics required
- Experience troubleshooting, process controls, electrical equipment, PLC programs, HMI applications, sensors, valves, motors, drives
- Good understanding of computers, local and wide area networks. Primarily Windows based environments and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organized and able to compose one’s self on paper while generating proposals and specifications. Attention to detail and professionalism are paramount.
- Ability to comprehend physical processes that may include but are not limited to thermal, fluid flow, level, analytical (pH, ORP, conductivity, etc), pressure and vacuum.
- Self-motivated.
- Good listener with ability to really understand a problem or question and then help to find a solution.
