Requirements Of The A&P Mechanic
- Valid A&P certificate is essential.
- Must comply with recent experience requirements per 14 CFR 65.83.
- Preferred: At least two years of professional experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Basic mechanical skills required.
- Must have a personal set of aircraft maintenance tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and guidance effectively.
- Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail; capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
