#4. Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Basic Qualifications
Requirements for the Lab Technician:
- Technical degree or certification in a science-related field with laboratory experience.
- Relevant work experience may be accepted in place of some educational requirements; however, a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Ability to perform precise and accurate measurements.
- Availability to work four 10-hour shifts per week; must be able to complete training on the day shift.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Capability to draft routine reports and correspondence, and accurately enter data into records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Competency in basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as working with fractions, the metric system, percentages, and decimals, with the ability to convert units as needed.
- High importance on safety practices.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
