Requirements of the Landscape Architect / Land Planner – Team Lead:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program is required.
- Must hold professional registration as a Landscape Architect or be a Certified Planner.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional Landscape Architect/Designer in a land development setting is preferred.
- A strong and varied project portfolio, showcasing a diverse background in the field.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary work environment, with the flexibility to manage shifting project priorities and multiple clients.
- Strong capability to manage deadlines while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in freehand illustration and rendering, with strong graphic skills in both sketching and finished designs.
- Familiarity with local codes, ordinances, and public agency standards related to land development and entitlement processes.
- Experience in developing and implementing a structured QA/QC program.
- Ability to design and manage projects, including rezonings, site plans, and landscape plans, ensuring compliance with municipal codes and ordinances.
- 100% in-office role.
