We have partnered with an Engineering Consulting Firm in the Washington, DC area to provide them with a Resident Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Haves For The Resident Engineer

#1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college

#2. 20 years of experience serving municipal clients involving planning, consulting, design, and construction services for a wide variety of services including water and wastewater planning and design

#3. Heavy experience in project management and running/leading a project.

#4. Profession engineer license required

Requirements For The Resident Engineer

Education and Experience:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the organization’s vehicle insurance policy requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Over 20 years of experience working with municipal clients, providing planning, consulting, design, and construction services for diverse projects, including water and wastewater systems.
• Extensive project management experience, with a focus on leading and overseeing projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

• Strong leadership abilities and sound decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledgeable in applying for and securing relevant construction permits and licenses.
• Exceptional technical writing abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong documentation capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
• Decisive with strong judgment skills, efficiently resolving issues and analyzing project details. Acts independently but seeks input from team members when necessary for complex situations.
• Highly organized, with the ability to break down complex tasks into manageable actions, prioritize effectively, plan and track timelines, and meet deadlines.
