Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Senior Tax Associate
#1. Must have Public Accounting experience.
#2. Must have experience preparing Individual and Business tax returns.
#3. Must have a degree in Accounting or Tax.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Requirements For The Senior Tax Associate
- Education: Preferred CPA or EA certification, along with a degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- Experience: Over 5 years of experience in preparing tax returns for both businesses and individuals.
- Skills: Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and client service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is required. Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Capabilities: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and excel both independently and within a team environment.
- Software Experience: Experience with Wolters Kluwer and CCH Software is required
- In office role, with Hybrid opportunity after 6 months.
