Prioritized Must Haves For The Senior Tax Manager
#1. Minimum of 5 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm REQUIRED.
#2. CPA required for Manager level (Supervisor role does not require CPA)
#3. Strong team management skills - the ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams of people.
#4. Experience in one or more specialized areas/industries
#5. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, Master's degree preferred
#6. Strong corporate tax and/or high net worth individual background and technical skills

Requirements Of The Senior Tax Manager
- A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in tax within a public accounting setting is a must.
- CPA certification is essential for the Manager level (not necessary for the Supervisor role).
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, manage, and coach team members effectively.
- A track record of being a professional role model, recognized for both technical knowledge and professional reputation.
- Expertise in one or more specialized industries is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; preference is given to candidates with a master’s degree.
- A well-established or growing industry reputation, along with a robust professional network and key connections.
- Strong technical expertise in corporate taxation and/or high-net-worth individual tax matters.
- Teleflex schedule: They can choose to work remote, hybrid, or in office.
- The candidate would be located in Akron/Cleveland however we are open to all of Ohio (not looking for candidates outside of OH at this time)
