Requirements For The Stormwater Lead Engineer
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Over 12 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulic design engineering.
- Familiarity with software such as Open Roads Designer SUDA, Civil 3D SSA, CivilStorm, SRH-2D, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, and HY-8.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
- Experience collaborating with Departments of Transportation, local municipalities, and regulatory agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Experience working with stormwater-specific agencies.
- Previous involvement in business development and/or marketing roles.
- Familiarity with GIS technology.
- Experience in stormwater master planning.
- Proficiency in some or all of the following software: ORD SUDA, Civil 3D SSA, CivilStorm, SRH2D, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, and HY-8.
