Vehicle Installer

Pay Rate: $ 20.50 / hour

We have partnered with a large Wireless Services Company in Mobile, AL to provide them with a Vehicle Installer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Vehicle Installer

#1. Preferably Two (2) plus years’ experience in Electronics and/or electrical equipment.

#2. Tools required for installation of above police related vehicle equipment to include but not limited to wire strippers, crimpers, socket sets, wrenches, pliers, cutters, electric driver, drills, and ratchets.

#3. Willingness to perform work in a non-air conditioned and/or outdoor environment.

Requirements Of The Vehicle Installer

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is typically necessary for this role.
• Requires proficiency in using various tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, socket sets, wrenches, pliers, cutters, electric drivers, drills, and ratchets for installing specialized vehicle equipment.
• The role involves physical tasks, including standing and bending throughout the day.
• Ability to professionally represent the organization at various levels.
• Candidates should be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be comfortable working in non-climate-controlled or outdoor environments.
• Self-motivation and independence are key traits for success in this role.
• Must obtain FCC GROL certification within 180 days of starting (company covers the cost).
• Ideally, candidates should have two or more years of experience with electronics or electrical equipment.
  
  

Other Key Requirements

• Onsite role
• Occasional overnight/ multiple night travel 10%-25%.
• Schedule Mon-Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM occasional OVERTIME
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test and must have a valid US driver’s license and a reasonably clean driving record for the past five years.
• Due to the Law Enforcement Systems this role will work on, candidates with Felonies will not pass a background check.
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
