Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Associate Technical Designer :
1. 2 years technical design and patternmaking
2. Working knowledge of garment construction fit and pattern correction
3. Passion for fashion industry technical design
4. Associate degree in patternmaking technical design or equivalent professional experience
Requirements of the Associate Technical Designer :
- Associate degree in patternmaking technical design or equivalent professional experience
- 2 years experience in womens technical design
- Organized efficient
- Spec measuring womens garments
- Attend live fittings take notes
- Organize and prep / steam clothes prior to fitting
- Track samples into our fit list
- Send fit comments to factories
- Basic understanding of construction / patternmaking in wovens
