Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Water Resources Director :
1. BS in Civil Engineering, AZ Professional Engineer's license.
2. Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) is required or ability to obtain within six months.
3. Knowledge in the application of FLO-2D is required
Responsibilities of the Water Resources Director :
The ideal candidate will lead and direct the activities necessary to meet client expectations. Prior experience demonstrating people skills, technical skills and management skills are essential to this position. In brief, this position will attend and actively participate in business development, client marketing and project development.
Requirements of the Water Resources Director :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a current Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona.
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification is required or must be obtained within six months of employment.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and oversee technical tasks while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills, including effective speaking, active listening, and clear writing.
