The TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Program (NEDCPT) trains and deploys both TSA-led and state and local law enforcement-led canine teams in support of day-to-day activities that protect the transportation domain. These highly trained explosives detection canine teams are a reliable resource at detecting explosives and provide a visible deterrent to terrorism directed towards transportation systems.
The Program Analyst supports the mission and documentation for multiple CEB processes. In this role, the Program Analyst supports all associated activities associated with execution of the CEB process. The Program Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Federal stakeholders and the NEDCTP contract management team, configure non-explosive training aids, maintain and assist in performing supply inventories, coordinate field shipments, be able to maintain a project schedule, and data entry/monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Create, track inventory and supplies for, and assemble canine non-explosive training aids
- Support logistics personnel in assisting with packing, shipping and tracking field shipments
- Perform inventory and status reporting, deliverable reviews and schedule monitoring to ensure on-time delivery of quality products
- Input and maintain program data records in Microsoft Excel and Sharepoint
- Interpret data and provide information and recommendations to improve program efficiency
- Assist in development of program documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- This position may evolve to include support functions that involve the handling of explosive materials to include:
- Explosive training aid prep and quality control
- Explosive inventory analysis
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field
- 3 years of experience in program/project support role, or equivalent
- Ability to organize, set priorities, and determine resource requirements
- Experience working in a team environment that is process-oriented and deadline-driven while exercising problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to obtain and hold a TSA Public Trust clearance
- Must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week at TSA's offsite location at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
