What are the responsibilities and job description for the ServiceNow Developer position at Reli Group Inc?
The Provider Ownership Verification (POV) project focuses on researching ownership information reported by entities to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) through the Medicare enrollment process and comparing it with ownership information reported at the respective state Secretary of State (SOS) website. If discrepancies are identified (e.g., owners are reported to the state SOS but not to CMS/Medicare), RELI collects documentation for further investigation and action. This work supports the oversight and compliance efforts of the CMS Center for Program Integrity (CPI) Provider Enrollment Operations Group (PEOG).
Responsibilities:
- Participating in application development and existing system enhancements by coding system features according to system designs
- Maintaining existing application programs by fixing bugs or clearing up operational deficiencies in both previously released software and software slated for future release
- Assuring program, module, and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards and procedures
- Working through all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance
- Utilizing new or improved technologies and tools to modify products and provide integration with applications developed internally and externally
- Supporting the POV team with tool modification and/or enhancements
- Ongoing improvement and maintenance of the POV tool
- Ensuring adherence to 508 standards and principles
- Actively participating in process improvement
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Demonstrated competence of software development practices, computer science theory, and relevant technologies
- Proficiency with technical ServiceNow components such as: Business rules, Client scripts, UI policies and UI Actions, UI pages and UI macros, Script includes, Catalog items, Workflows, Flow Designer, Web services, Reports & Dashboards, Service Portal, Integrations, etc.
- Knowledge of the ServiceNow scoped application development
- Ability to assess workloads, meet deadlines, and adjust as needed
- Ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload while still meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
- Consistent and regular attendance
- Must be able to function in a remote work environment
- Must have secure and reliable internet access
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator (required)
- ServiceNow Developer certification (preferred)
- Knowledge in JavaScript, SQL, HTML preferred
- 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or computer information systems, or equivalent experience

The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individuals skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
