Job Overview:
In this position, you will provide individualized attention to each guest, ensuring their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being is maintained or attained. This includes carrying out assignments related to the guest's activities of daily living (ADL's), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to Guests in a nourishing environment
- Perform various tasks assigned by the floor nurse, including checking vital signs, weighing Guests, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens
- Assist the Wound Care Nurse as directed
Requirements:
- Certified/registered as a nursing assistant in the state of Minnesota
- Experienced in long-term care
- Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
- Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
