What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumber position at Reliable Basement and Drain LLC?
Essential Functions :
Ability to troubleshoot, install and repair commercial plumbing systems. Employer provides tools.
Ability to operate hand tools and other machinery such as drain snakes, pipe threaders, sewer cameras, man lifts etc.
Applicants will be expected to be on call once a month
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are a must.
Plumbing licenses are a plus.
General and Hydro Excavation along with other services including sewer cleaning and backflow devices, water heaters, sump pump and Pump spray monitoring system certified installer, video pipe inspection and high-pressure jetting.
Requirements : Candidate must be able to :
Follow verbal and written direction
Read written work orders
Physically perform the basic operational functions of climbing, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions (8 hours)
Must be able to lift items / products up to a minimum of 100lbs
Have flexibility to work Saturdays / Overtime (peak season)
Have good attendance
Have a positive attitude
Work in various temperatures based on the season
Qualifications :
Must be at least 21 yrs. old
2 years of Commercial Plumbing experience
Able to work at a fast pace, with long periods of standing and bending or sitting
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
