Plumbing Service Technician
Essential Functions:
- Ability to troubleshoot, install and repair residential and lite commercial plumbing systems. Employer provides tools.
- Ability to operate hand tools and other machinery such as drain snakes, pipe threaders, sewer cameras, man lifts etc.
- Applicants will be expected to be on call once a month
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are a must.
- Plumbing licenses are a plus.
- Sewer Jetting Vacuum Services, and General and Hydro Excavation. Other services include sewer cleaning and backflow devices, water heaters, sump pump and Pump Spy monitoring system certified installer, video pipe inspection and high-pressure jetting.
Requirements: Candidate must be able to:
- Follow verbal and written direction
- Read written work orders
- Physically perform the basic operational functions of climbing, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions (8 hours)
- Must be able to lift items/products up to a minimum of 100lbs
- Have flexibility to work Saturdays/Overtime (peak season)
- Have good attendance
- Have a positive attitude
- Work in various temperature based on season
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 yrs. old
- Able to work at a fast pace, with long periods of standing and bending or sitting
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
