Reliable Fire and Security is looking to hire a Billing Clerk to join their corporate office in Alsip, IL. They are one of the largest fire safety companies in the industry and are celebrating 70 years of Excellence. As the company continues to grow, they are looking to fill a Billing Clerk position which will report directly to the Billing Supervisor. This person will play a critical role in ensuring services are billed timely and accurately so that the company can continue to generate revenue.
Responsibilities
- Invoicing of completed service work
- Perform customer web invoicing submittal through multiple portals
- Respond to customer invoice inquiries
- Assisting supervisor with various projects
- Maintain accurate and complete billing records
- Assist in collections of past due funds
- Alternate for reception / phones
- All other projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 years’ experience in service industry or billing position preferred
- Q360 or equivalent systems experience a plus
- Must be available to work in office 5 days per week
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Must also be organized, operate with accuracy, attention to detail, ability to manage shifting priorities, and be a team player
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally between teams, management, and staff
- Desire to roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel
