Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage on-site operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Supervisor will lead a team of workers, coordinate tasks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while fostering a productive work environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Manage project scheduling to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
- Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate project budgets and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Build strong relationships with team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Utilize software tools such as Prolog, Bluebeam, and ProCore for project management and documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction processes, utilizing tools such as an Ohmmeter when necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers to communicate progress updates and address any concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices and project scheduling techniques.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site.
- Proficiency in using construction management software.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with pipeline construction is a plus but not required.
