Reliable Healthcare Services is seeking PCA's in the Quitman, MS area to work with clients in there home.
Education:
Must have a high school Diploma or GED, are must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and understand personal care assignment and write adequately to complete forms and reports of visits.
Training:
Must successfully complete 40 hours of personal care service curriculum training course and the standardized examination designated by DOM.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- The responsibilities of the PCA are the personal care and safety of the client. Which includes providing the following.
- Mouth and Denture care
- Shaving
- Grooming hair- shampooing, combing, oiling
- Bathing - bed bath, shower, or tub bath
- Helping with dressing
- Helping with toileting - commode/ chair, bed pan, urinal (emptying and cleaning)
- Help with eating if needed
- Transferring or changing body positions
- Helping with ambulation
- Keeping client safe at all times
- Light house cleaning
- Running errands
- Laundry
Requirements:
- PCA Certificate
- Background
- CPR/First Aid
- Driver License/ ID
- Valid car insurance
