What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Reliable Home Care?
Reliable Home Care is hiring a Program Manager (Case Management) for the Rolla area. The role supports/oversees caseloads; with persons w/disabilities in their own home (Independent Supportive Living “ISL”).
Hours: Mon-Friday 8a-5p with flexibility for On-Call duties and to assist with shifts when in a staffing shortage.
Job Description:
- Provide oversight of assigned homes on your caseload; environments, consumer health/safety, documentation being maintained
- Provide training and direction to employees,
- Exhibits excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Promote a positive atmosphere within the team and demonstrate appropriate work behavior and professionalism.
- Demonstrates problem solving skills when faced with issues needing resolution.
- Required to rotate on-call duties and be able to resolve consumer/staff issues as they arise
- Ensures Agency systems/policies are in place, being implemented, and effective.
Reliable Home Care’s Training Process:
Applicant will be expected to:
1. Train as a Direct Care Staff for a min of 30 days, then
2. Train as a House Manager for a min of 30 days, then
3. Contingent on successful completion of the trainings, the applicant will transition into the Program Manager role, then
4. Train as a Program Manager for a min. of 30 days.
-This process ensures the applicant is knowledgeable in the Reliable Home Care process, policies and systems and familiar with the consumers they will be responsible for.
Requirements for Role: A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with people w/disabilities, must be able to pass a Criminal Background, have vehicle/insurance, must be able to lift min. of 50lbs.
