Caregiver Position in Kittanning, PA – Multiple Shifts Available (Must Have Reliable Car)

Position Details

Location: Kittanning, PA
Shifts Needed:

• Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Wednesday: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Friday: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Sunday: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Because these hours are not on a bus route, you must have a reliable car or another guaranteed form of transportation. Punctuality is crucial, as the client depends on consistent, timely support.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Personal Care
• Assist with grooming, bathing, dressing, and other hygiene-related tasks.
• Offer help with safe transfers or mobility within the home.
• Medication Reminders
• Help the client remember their medication schedule as outlined in their care plan.
• Household Tasks
• Provide light housekeeping such as washing dishes, doing laundry, or tidying the living area.
• Prepare or assist with simple meals to ensure the client’s nutritional needs are met.
• Overnight Monitoring (When Applicable)
• Stay alert during overnight shifts to assist with any immediate needs, such as bathroom assistance or reassurance.
• Ensure a calm, safe environment for the client throughout the night.
• Companionship & Emotional Support
• Engage the client in friendly conversation, listen to their stories or concerns, and offer a supportive presence.
• Encourage light activities or hobbies to keep the client mentally stimulated and comfortable.

• Experience (Preferred): Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus, but we are open to training those who are eager to learn and dedicated to providing excellent care.
