Job Description:
At Reliable Home Repair Inc, our employees perform a variety of jobs during all phases of construction. We are looking for a highly skilled, productive and reliable construction worker to join our team in Anchorage. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of residential construction experience. This role requires physical endurance, and knowledge of construction methods. Reliable Home Repair, Inc. is committed to customer satisfaction, and we’re looking for someone to grow with our company, both independently and as part of a team to meet task deadlines. Wage is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Repair existing residential home systems.
- Measure and cut lumber and other building materials to specified dimensions.
- Install windows, doors, and other framing components.
- Bathroom and kitchen repairs and remodels.
- Use hand and power tools to complete framing tasks (saws, drills, hammers, etc.)
- Water damage repairs.
- Decks, Fences, and about everything else besides getting on top of roofs!
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on the job site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete other general construction tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Takes pride in doing good work.
- Performs well with little or no supervision.
- Remodeling experience from rough in, to finished.
- Experience with common house failures in Alaska.
- Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and cordless drill and driver.
- Basic HVAC knowledge a plus.
- Basic appliance knowledge a plus.
- Tile, stone, masonry knowledge a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with customers and fellow employees.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including contractors, laborers, and site managers.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
