In this key role, you’ll coordinate Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services, manage deliveries and pickups, and ensure optimal scheduling to meet customer needs. This position requires close collaboration with the Warehouse, Sales, and HME Support teams to keep processes smooth and efficient, ensuring excellent customer service and operational effectiveness.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our HME Operations team! In this key role, you’ll coordinate Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services, manage deliveries and pickups, and ensure optimal scheduling to meet customer needs. This position requires close collaboration with the Warehouse, Sales, and HME Support teams to keep processes smooth and efficient, ensuring excellent customer service and operational effectiveness.
Essential Functions
- Scheduling Coordination: Schedule DME services, deliveries, and pickups efficiently, ensuring all appointments align with customer orders and needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse staff to manage inventory levels and coordinate with the Sales and HME Support teams for accurate scheduling.
- Customer Communication: Make a minimum of 60 outbound calls daily to confirm appointments, address customer questions, and ensure schedule adherence.
- Documentation: Track and document all customer and internal team communications accurately.
- Route Optimization: Organize delivery routes to maximize efficiency based on location and time, continuously reviewing and adjusting routes as needed.
- Compliance: Adhere to all HIPAA, HQAA, and compliance standards.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Impact Lives Daily: You’ll be delivering life-enhancing equipment to those who need it most.
- Hands-On Experience: Use your mechanical skills to keep equipment in top shape while interacting with customers.
- Independence & Flexibility: Manage your time efficiently while working independently in a field-based role.
- Be a Lifeline: Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients have the medical tools they need to live comfortably.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience or knowledge of DME services and healthcare industry practices is a plus.
- Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
