**Job Title:** Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor and Delivery department. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and provide exceptional care to patients during this critical period of their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor fetal heart rates, mother's vital signs, and labor progress, making informed decisions to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues
• Support patients and families throughout the childbirth process, providing education and emotional support

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in Texas
• At least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
